Winter Challenge 2026

event fundraiser

Stay active this winter and help make a difference

The Oakley House Winter Challenge brings our community together to move, connect and raise funds for the upgrade of our school hall, improving the space for learners who learn differently.

Choose your challenge, gather a team and start moving.

MOVE FOR A CAUSE

The Oakley House Winter Challenge is a fun self-challenge designed to get us moving during the chilly Cape Town winter months, while raising funds for a meaningful cause.

This year’s challenge supports the upgrade of the Oakley House Preparatory School hall.

Oakley House supports children who learn differently, many of whom experience sensory sensitivities and learning challenges. Our hall plays an important role in school life, from assemblies and performances to celebrations and community gatherings.

However, the current acoustics and noise levels in the space make it difficult for some learners to comfortably participate in events. Funds raised through the Winter Challenge will help us create a more inclusive and supportive hall environment where every child can feel comfortable and confident taking part.

By joining the challenge, you are helping us improve a space that brings our school community together.
